Service Description
Do you want to manage life's stressors in a more balanced way? Research shows how important and effective mindfulness and meditation can be for greater brain health as well as emotional and physical well-being in daily life. If you've wanted your own practice but didn't know where to start, this introduction to mindfulness series is for you. Participants will learn over 12 different styles of meditation drawing from modern and historic styles of yoga and mindfulness techniques. You will discover the difference between these techniques, why they are used and how they can benefit and enhance your life. Each class is experiential as well as educational. No prior meditation or yoga experience is necessary, only a curious mind and openness to learn new ways to live more presently and at ease in the world. Please have access to a comfortable space without distractions and have a notebook available for journaling.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments must be canceled 48 hours in advance. Any appointments cancelled after this may be subject to a cancellation fee and/or charged the full amount of the session. The only exception is public school cancellations and medical emergencies.
